  Your argument is simplistic. The peak of the Kashmir dispute, during the 1990s, was when India was in big trouble. We went begging to the IMF for loans in 1991, mortgaged our gold, and barely managed to withstand their withering conditions on our internal economic controls. Why did not the west do something about Kashmir then?

  Kashmir struggle is a pseudonym for Muslim supremacistic tendencies. If they support Kashmir today, tomorrow there will be a similar struggle in Canada, UK, US and so on. Get it?Recommend162

  Your article based on this single point is a laughable in itself.

  As you said the “struggle” continued for 22 years. Was India planning to buy weapons worth $100 Billion for last 22 years? Is this why the “West” is not supporting the Kashmir cause?

  The author did not also mention the what caused the militancy in Kashmir 22 years back? High on the Dollars and Dinars, when ISI and Pak Army tried to use the Zihadis against India for “death with thousands cuts”.

  Author also did not mention that the Kashmiri freedom leaders want to turn Kashmir into Taliban by banning movies, music, Tv and Radio channel. Dukhtaran-e-Millat forces girls to wear burkha and if denied they paint their face black. Christians were forced out of the “peaceful” valley two months back like 1 million Kashmiri Pundits were forced out of their home 20 years back and none of the Kashmiri “freedom” leaders talk about them. Of course, in an Islamic country there should be no place for the minorities.

  Ah! By the way all the arguments in the article is very much valid if you just replace the Word Kashmir by Balochistan.Recommend179

  Oh really?!! Then you should also wonder why Human Rights abuses by China always find objections in the west? Is China a smaller market than India? Or is China less important than India when it comes to western economies?
